The wonderful team I had the opportunity to work with. Each chose a role such as Account Manager, PR Manager, Account Planner, Researcher, Copywriter, Digital Designer and Video Production.
Have worked with an amazing team to create a campaign for the faculty team at the University of North Texas.
Confidentially chose the role of Account Planner as well as Strategist to figure out the best route for a campaign that would expose students to the staff that repair problems around campus, as well as advertising a link where students can report anything broken.
Problem
Our clients, UNT Facilities, specialized in repairs and general maintenance around campus. They rely on reports that are filled out by students and staff to know what to fix as soon as possible, but the problem is that students and staff barely knew they existed. They wanted help in advertising not only them, but most importantly advertise their report forms to encourage students to fill them out and assist in making UNT campus beautiful.
Research
Started our project by gathering data based on where students and staff stand on UNT Facilities via surveys. After 125 responses and a focus group session, it was discovered that most students were either unaware or dismissive of Facilities work around campus, alongside the report form.
Execution
Presenting our final presentation to Facilities was a success in capturing exactly what they wanted. Not only satisfied in our ideas for guiding student and staff to the report form, but were also ecstatic towards our objective to humanize the section of UNT that many are unaware.
Strategy
For students to be more aware of the maintenance and repairs that is done around campus Facilities, ideas were proposed such as a mascot, proposing an event near the main area of campus themed around them, and decals that will guide students to the forms for maintenance.
